GETTING HERE IS HALF THE FUN

No dock. No cruise ships. No hurry. Just a stretch of white sand at the end of a short island hop — and a few very good ways to reach it.

The Fine Print

  • Passports: Required for everyone, including kids, on any USVI–BVI crossing.

  • Customs & fees: Ferry fares don't include customs/immigration and port fees — carry some extra cash for border fees on USVI routes.

  • Check the schedule: Ferry times shift with the season. Confirm your sailing (and the last boat back, day-trippers) before you travel.

  • Cash is king: Small island, simple systems. US dollars everywhere — wet ones accepted at exactly one establishment.

  • Coming for the day? The direct ferry returns from Great Harbour at 3ish on sailing days, but verify your departure time as they do change. Staying the night at the Sandcastle means you never have to watch the clock.  Just saying.
